This nailer accepts both wire-weld and plastic-inserted coil nails and includes a soft rubber foot that's perfect for working with soft wood. Additionally, the N66C-1 can handle the tough stuff: cement, clapboard, fencing, and even light-gauge steel are no problem.

The N66C-1 has an adjustable guide and an operating range of 70 to 120 PSI, which means you can dial in the right depth for the job. And with driving power of 515 in/lbs, the N66C-1 can be easily set for 1-1/4-inch to 2-1/2- inch nails. Additionally, the N66C-1 has a 350-nail magazine, so you can knock out plenty of work in a single load.

The N66C-1 Siding Nailer works with any air compressor and has a tool-free adjustable exhaust that directs spent air away from you when you're working.

This gun is fairly light and replaces 3 other guns. We used one heavy gun for shooting 16d 3-1/2" common nails for structural framing, one for Simpson hangers, and one for shooting regular 0.131 framing nails. This does all of that with an adjustable (no tools) depth gauge! I usually weld a receiver and run a 1/4" bolt in it, that I double nut for a depth gauge. I am impressed. When my Hitachi metal connector nailer broke down again, I found that Bostitch had added MCN-250. I actually thought they missed the market when they came out with the MCN150. There comment was "most" of the need for nailing off hangers and clips is for the 1-1/2" nails. I don't think so. I live in snow load and earthquake country, and much more than half of the metal connector nails I shoot are 2-1/2". So anyway, it's about time. The Bostitch costs less, is American made (Isn't it??)and replacement parts cost 1/3 of the Hitachi parts. I've used the Hitachi for years, and it's been good.
